100+ Women Who Care NOTL has chosen three contenders in the first meeting at The Hare Wine Company.

Three local organizations presented their causes. Carol Nagy spoke on behalf of Hospice Niagara, the non-profit organization that has provided hospice palliative care since 1993 to support people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Julia Hodgson, a student representative on the Willobank School of Restoration Arts board of directors, outlined the school's need for funding. And Barbara Worthy represented the NOTL Museum.

Carol Nagy's powerful and moving presentation convinced the group to select Hospice Niagara to receive the donation of $15,100.
